The Beacon Institute's main administrative headquarters are located at 199 Main Street in Beacon. Its bookstore and gallery focus on the Hudson, its history and related articles and items on the cultural, artistic, scientific and educational developments from the seventeenth through the twenty-first century. And, of course we carry maps for the hiker and explorer.
The public gallery, bookstore and gift shop is open Monday-Friday from 9-5; Saturday from 11-5 (second Saturdays until 8) and Sunday from 12-5. Note: We occasionally close the space for special meetings.
